Easter Brunch

Today was an amazing day with friends and family.  I'm so lucky that I have people who love and care about me enough to include me in their family things such as Birthdays, Christmases, Easter, Girls Night Dinners just everything.  I love that people who were strangers nearly 3 years ago are now family and not just friends. 

Brunch with the Batley, Day, Nicholson family was great.  I was in charge of fruit salad and only managed to cut my finger towards the end but hey the fruit salad was amaze if I do say so myself lol. We also had croissants and hot cross buns.  It's not Easter unless it has hot cross buns.  Though I ended up with the kid version and had chocolate hot cross buns.  Soo good.

Perfect Strangers

It's sooo weird to think that you can meet someone who has been through a lot of the things you've been through... and after talking for the past hour or so letting my vent.. when all of a sudden it comes to an end.

We shall see where it all will take us... roll on the rest of my evening, my life and the rest of my 2014.

Chocolate Egg

My nanny kids are amazing.  Tonight when Mr. 6 got in the door from school the first thing he made sure to do was to give me an Easter Egg.  It was a great last day with the kids today and I will miss not seeing them for the next 2 weeks but I'm looking forward to the break. 

I think I might miss them enough to make a plan for dinner with them in the next few days haha!  I think I'm a sucker for punishment lol.

Onsies

Today Mr. 10 came home from school and needed me to take him out to get a onsie for school as it was last day of school tomorrow and his year were having a pyjama day at school.  Boy was it a mission.

We went from Herne Bay out to St Lukes mall when we got there I realised I didn't have my wallet and didn't really want to go back home then to the mall again.  Lucky for me I had my drivers license in the car.  Headed to ASB bank and was given a replacement card which I needed to replace months ago.  Woo.  Got that sorted all in 20ish minutes.

The next hour or so we were at the mall was a mission.  Mr. 10 went from shop to shop to shop trying to find a onsie that he wanted to wear.  It needed to have a hood and it needed to be an awesome animal.  We went to I don't know around 6 different shops before we FINALLY found one.  After waiting to hear back from Caro she said it was ok for Mr. 10 to get it...I told Mr. 10 that the $50 it cost to get that onsie is like a lifetime of chores lol.  Lucky for him it was on sale for $38 but he still needs to work a lifetime of chores to pay it back.

As crazy as it was Mr. 10 was happy and we came away with an awesome onsie.

Happy Birthday

Had a great Birthday today... work early and couldn't get back to sleep soo ended up having breakfast with the amazing Mel.  I drove out to Browns Bay and had an awesome breakfast with mocha.  I loved spending the morning with Mel as with both of us having busy work schedules it's hard to make time so it was great.

I came home had a chilled out afternoon and then I went to Raya and Mikes for dinner.  They are amazing and made awesome lasagne for dinner along with cheese and crackers as snacks.  I had an amazing birthday with people who were once strangers and now people I class as family.  I'm so lucky how far I have come to have gone from everything to nothing and in 2 years now have pretty much everything.  I really do love my life and where I am at the moment.

Happy Birthday Eve

Its less than 24 hours till I'm 28. Soo much has happened in the past 28 years but I'm grateful for all of the challenges I have been through and I'm looking forward to another year filled with mixed emotions and a lot of fun.

The kids gave me an early awesome gift today. Mr. 6 picked the heart and Mr. 10 picked the L.  I love those boys and was really spoilt by the nanny family this year.  Loved the gift and love them.

My awesome work colleagues behind the big blue door put on morning tea and organised a cake. The food was amazing and I'm so grateful to have friends who care when I don't have much family around.

Happy Birthday Adam

Another birthday for our family.  Happy Birthday to my cousin Adam. Have a great day over there in Aussie... !  Miss you and the family.

Crazy Hair Monster, BDSM & Spanking

My hair is all kinds of crazy! Its thick curly wavy afro-y bushy and ready to attack anyone who gets in its way.

I try to go as much as I can to get it cut and coloured along with thinning it out so that it's not weighing my head down with the crazy monster that it is.

Got a cut colour treatment and even got Tania to straighten it... 2ish hours later and my hair isn't so crazy and it's even some what manageable

A work colleague transferred money to my account the other day and you totally have to love the reference.  It made me wonder if banks actually check the reference on customers bank statements.  It made me laugh and I'm glad we can all joke about how it was a cheap trill.  I do love the people that I work with.  They make working there so much more fun.
